J. Gregg Hawthorne, SCREA

Mr. Hawthorne joined AGI Valuations in 1987, and is the Director of the Senior Housing Valuation Division and the Co-Manager of the Southern California office. In the nine years prior to joining Arthur Gimmy International, Mr. Hawthorne had been actively involved in various real estate fields, including commercial real estate brokerage, commercial/resort development and property management. Over the years with Arthur Gimmy International, Mr. Hawthorne has conducted a wide range of valuation assignments which include typical commercial real estate, as well as more complex issues such as submerged land valuations, large master-planned residential use land developments (including all of Shell Oil Company's Southern California land holdings), partial interest valuations, and major litigation/eminent domain assignments. Recently, Mr. Hawthorne has been involved with notable properties such as the Staples Arena/Los Angeles Sports Arena project (eminent domain), the Burbank Airport expansion project (eminent domain), Santa Cruz Island/Gherini Ranch (eminent domain, involving the largest privately owned island property off the coast of California), and Cojo-Jalama Ranch (estate planning, for the second largest coastal land holding in the State of California).Mr. Hawthorne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science from the University of Utah.
