Buddie Johnson, Senior Associate

Mr. Johnson rejoined Arthur Gimmy International on January 1, 2001, having been previously associated with AGI in the 1970's and 1980's.   From 1969 to to 1975, he was Western Region Facility Development Consultant for the National Golf Foundation.  As Director of the Division of Golf at AGI, Mr. Johnson's work is centered on the appraisal and analysis of golf course projects, in addition to other general appraisal assignments for the firm.  Golf course assignments include private clubs, privately owned public facilities and municipal golf courses.  Much of this work includes real estate development land associated with the golf course projects.   These assignments are normally associated with clients' needs for financing, estate valuation, condemnation, sales and purchases of golf courses, and feasibility analysis.   Recent assignments include a golf course feasibility study in Fresno County, golf course appraisals in Shasta and Alameda Counties, a public parking business in Oakland, and appraisal of thirteen investment properties in San Francisco for a private estate.

From 1984 to 2000, Mr. Johnson was president of a development company in Arizona where he oversaw development of a 2,100 acre mixed land use real estate project, including planning, construction and operation of an 18-hole championship golf course.

With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from McKendree College in 1963, Mr. Johnson also holds a Master Degree in Theology from Garrett Theological Seminary at Northwestern University, in 1966.
